Traditional Calendar A.D. 2017

We now present the 2017 Traditional Liturgical Calendar, inscribed with the proper feasts of the Philippines. The theme is Sacrifice of the Altar. The ensuing vignettes are taken from the Spanish version of the calendar. Click on them to enlarge.

The calendar prints on 21 × 27.9 paper.

We will only print the standard English version of the calendar and only in this format.

As is shown above, the full calendar presents the liturgical feasts observed throughout the Philippines, according to the particular calendar of the archipelago. Due to layout constraints, and to avoid optically cluttering the calendar, we decided to include only the proper feasts of our archdioceses. All diocesan proper feasts, however, will be inscribed in the directorium. As in the previous calendar, we have not included the particular feasts of each and every barangay and municipality in the Philippines, which would require our calendar to assume encyclopaedic proportions. We included only those proper feasts in some places of notable character.

Information on holidays of obligation, external solemnities, fasting and abstinence are also available. A detailed description of the prevailing laws, with the concessions granted to the Philippines, are provided at the beginning, as well as notes in the calendar itself, where necessary.

Price is PhP 125 per calendar. As communicated to us, there is a special discount for bulk orders (more information on this to be announced).

For orders, please contact Sarah Ortiz at 0933.365.5321. You may also approach her on Sundays, before or after the 2.00 pm Traditional Latin Mass at the Most Holy Redeemer Parish in Brixton Hill, Quezon City.

For those outside Manila, and for other questions and enquiries, please send an email to, or send a message to

Some of the pages of the draft of the calendar are available for browsing only here.
